Music Theme tunes (three films)

Music play a huge part in every film, without it movies would not be no where near as interesting as they are today, especially in horror and thriller movies. Here are a few of my favorite film theme songs-

The Exorcist-This is also one of the most popular theme tunes of all time.'The Exorcist' theme tune keeps the same speed throughout,it is a high and fast tune which creates suspense and makes the viewer seem as if there is a chase

The Secret Window-
The theme song for the 'The Secret Window' starts of with a high ticking sound, which then quickly leads to a orchestra playing a deep sound which make the viewer feel on edge. The same speed is kept throughout the song, until the end when the sound starts picking up speed.

Jaws-
The Jaws theme tune is one of the most recognizable theme tunes ever made. This theme tune starts of slow with a deep sound and then slowly creeps faster and faster and turns into a higher sound, creating suspense for any viewers. It also makes the viewer think that there is a chase going on.

For the attention of the examiner; For an easy excess to all my work, if you look to the right hand side of the page you can see the labels named: Evaluation, Planning, Research. If you click on anyone of these it will bring up my work which is pacific to each label.  The grey colour font is work produced by myself and the red colour font is work produced by members in my group, this does not include the production which was a group effort.

Final Sequence

Showcase

As a class we organised and carried out a showcase. This allowed us to show all our films which we made to be shown to an audience of 30-40 people which consisted of pupils and teachers. We were given roles by our teacher which then we had to complete to make sure that everything when smoothly. My role in the event was to produce a leaflet which then was used as the front and back cover of the program. Then inside of the program it showed our audience what films we produced with a log line about the film. Some of the other roles included making and distributing tickets for our event also some members of the class has to buy and sell food and drink. After all our films were shown, me and Lewis went around and asked some questions about our film in particular. We asked, "what did you think of our film?" and "was they any improvements we could make?" our film received mostly positive feedback but some people did say that the improvements that we could of made was to add more close ups to make it feel more dramatic and to create tension and the sound of the wind made it sound amateurish and you couldn't hear the character's voices clear enough.

Conclusion

Conclusion
I think that because as a group we didn't really challenge the codes and conventions of a thriller movie we but overall i though our film was still a good thriller opening sequence. After watching all the other classmates films our film was different to all theirs, we as theirs was set in a school and indoors ours was outside and also the plot was someone being attack or chased. Our plot was someone being pushed or fallen off a cliff, as a group we thought we thought we'd leave it on a cliff hanger so that our audience would watch the whole film if one did come out. Another thing was that no one knows whether Robert was pushed that he fell but that's for the audience to decided.  I still think that it is a good and effective plot line that works well in the scenery and that this would attract audiences. As a group we all work well to create this film and we all wanted it to be a success which is why i think our final film turned out good.
